Darneldur is an ancient city located in the Azhar Kingdom at the base of the Claw Crag Mountains. The city is carved into the very mountainside, with tall, jagged walls reaching to the sky. Home to the Royal Dwarven Cragbeard Clan, Darneldur is a bustling city of bustling culture, industry, and commerce.
Due to its mountainous perch, Darneldur has long been a port for goods traveling to and from the capital city of Azhar. Caravans of traders and merchants often take the winding, treacherous roads through the foothills, carrying a variety of goods from all over the kingdom.
The Cragbeard Clan rules over Darneldur and its citizens with a strong presence and sense of justice. The Cragbeard are known to be heralds of justice and defenders of the people. Towering above the city is the Darneldur Castle, the home of the Dwarven Majesty. The castle is beautifully crafted out of stone and inlaid with a variety of rare gems and metals. The castle serves as a grand symbol of the Dwarven power and its intimidating presence serves as a strong reminder of the city's long legacy.
