Sphalerite
Sphalerite is a white crystal that can be found under Kahr Zen. It is also known as Moonstone. It has the power of being able to store energy. With enough magic you can also use it to send energy. This is an incredibly useful material for making constructs or magical artifacts. This material can also be used to create magical creatures, whereof an example are Zementals.
Before the discovery of the use of this material, it was still a really valuable resource and it was seen as a holy material. The material was devoted to the god of the moon, Mesora. This caused that Mesora decided it to become a holy location to her, and the Dwarves came here to mine it out in peace. This is also the reason why Sphalerite is called Moon-stone. This mine grew out to become a small town, which was called Thallassius. After the discovery of it's use, the material became even more valuable. The town grew out to become a huge city, and later becoming the capitol of the Kahr Empire. This gave it it's name, Kahr Zen.
