Fenevon Starry-Eyed

"You need only look up into the night sky to see that the Light is everywhere. It moves through all things. If you still yourself long enough and commune with the Light, it may gift you sight beyond sight; a greater understanding of life itself, as it did me. My eyes are gone, but I do not need them. I have the Light."
Fenevon Starry-Eyed is the long-lived satyr Archdruid of the Luminous Circle, a group of insular druids who dwell in the high places of the world and study the movements of the stars, planets, and other celestial bodies. Considered one of the first druids to tap into the primal power of constellations, Fenevon has a reputation as an oracle capable of foresight. In reality, it is Fenevon's superior understanding of the cosmos that allows them to see some events before they happen.    Fenevon's early years were spent primarily in the Feywild, where they were the Royal Gardener to the Archfey Vanaweyr the Ponderer. The minor Archfey was himself a vassal to Vysche, Scholar of the Sixth Star, a lord of the Seacht Soilse. For reasons still unknown Vanaweyr gifted Fenevon's service to Vysche and the satyr was sent to the Pactlands to maintain the gardens around the Library of Durontanas, the home of the Scholar. Fenevon spent most of their waking hours maintaining the gardens, often working through the night. It is during one of these night-shifts that Fenevon became mesmerized by the stars of the Prime Material Plane. Fenevon would eventually forgo sleep altogether, and when they were not performing their horticultural duties, they were in the Library of Durontanas researching all they could about cosmology.    In time, Fenevon was released from Vysche's service, and the satyr then endeavored to commit themselves wholly to the studies of the cosmos. With the aid of other likeminded druids, Fenevon learned to harness the natural magic of the stars, and would go on to be a founding member of the Luminous Circle.    Fenevon disappeared some time around The Fugue. Without their guidance, the acolytes of the Luminous Circle began to slowly disband. While some of their number can still be found in the high reaches of the World, their presence has all but disappeared.

Fenevon circa. 1987.
