Few legendary figures are as instantly recognizable as the magic imbued automaton Galileo [ladies love my shiny ass]. A sorcerer of incredible power, Galileo was created by an entity referred to only as the Great Machine [hates when i call it mom] as an extension of the entity's senses. Galileo's purpose was to explore the multiverse and come to understand the complexities and subtle machinations of creation with the ultimate goal of discovering the meaning of life itself... At least that's what Galileo himself tells everyone. Though his goal is wonderous and noble [why thank you], the construct himself is irreverent, whimsical, immature, foolish, cocksure, eccentric, insolent, sophomoric, brash, and reckless. Also something that Galileo tells everyone. [gotta stay humble] Besides his striking appearance and prodigious power Galileo [are you coming on to me?] is known for being the captain of the Lex Prima, a mighty astral-galleon crewed by Modrons [dont remind me]. It is said that this vessel was a gift from the Primus of Mechanus (though some posit that it may have been a bribe) [big p gunna be real mad when he finds out what happened to the whip] Galileo often traveled with the master wizard Lorian Redwind, also an accomplished traveler amongst the planes. [homie got style] Galileo was last seen sometime around The Fugue [oh yeah / that whole thing]. It is unknown as to Galileo's ultimate fate, but every dozen or so years a notably bright comet appears in the sky which some attribute to the spectral form of the Lex Prima returning to the prime material plane for a brief tour.
