Jeshuriit Vess

The former lord of Meridian, Jeshuriit Vess was a water-genasi male whose rule was marked by frequent hostilies between Meridian and a nearby Sahuagin Barony. Vess was charismatic and outgoing publicly, but privately he was very anxious and deeply worried that the city was in mortal danger.
With the assistance of his Meridian Captains, Vess was able to forge a tenuous treaty with the Barony. Deeply upset with his performance during the crisis, Vess relinquished his title and stepped down as Lord of Meridian. He nominated his former protégé and member of the Meridian Captains, Cephon, to assume rule of Meridian.
Jeshuriit was a deeply spiritual man, and had a deep connection with the ocean itself. After his abdication, Vess left the waters of the Realm and was last heard of sailing towards Pelagos.
