Jorvaskarren

Large, hefty buildings of massive stock blocks and heavy timber signal the arrival at Jorvaskarren, the gateway between the The Bleak Coast and the rest of the Realm.
Sitting directly between the Dragonstail and Shattershin mountains, Jorvaskarren is a rough and tumble city of hardy hunters, trappers, and other outdoorsfolk. The city boasts an above average population of goliath, but you'd be forgiven for not noticing: native Jorvaskarren (or Gatefolk) are incredibly tall and sturdily built. Even the native dwarves of Jorvaskarren are, on average, a foot taller than their counterparts in other regions of the Realm.
There are little natural resources in Jorvaskarren besides the ample population of mountain goats that provide the city with a bulk of its food. Due to this scarcity, Jorvaskarren relies heavily on merchants who travel along the Realmway Path to the south.
