Driftwood Plaza
The exact center of the plane is this small central park, a respite of greenery in the town's heart. The cobbles are laid in elegant, sweeping patterns across the circular plaza, spiraling out from the central fountain. Fresh spring water bubbles up gently, creating a pleasant sound to fill the plaza. On a marble pedestal at the fountain's center is a large piece of driftwood, for which the plaza is named. On each side of the pedestal, the three laws of the plane are etched into a gold plate. Those who have been studying the plane have determined that this fountain is the keystone of the city. The irrational, dreamlike behavior of the town is minimized in the plaza, suggesting that the center "grounds" the plane in an unknown way.
The plaza is filled with trees, elegantly maintained flowerbeds, lantern-lit paths, and plenty of benches for residents to relax. The plaza is surrounded by entrances to the general store, tavern, town, hall, and other fundamental services, further proving that Driftwood Plaza is the center of the plane.
