Gonnor Stonecutter
The first of the Dwarves, Gonnor found his home in the central eastern mountains, building a sturdy fortress beneath the living rock.
No longer holding the glorious martial traditions of its founder, and certainly no longer held by Gonnor's descendants, Gond Fotress stands to this day as a military outpost for grizzed warriors, both old and outcast.
The vein of his bloodline that became nobles and royals burned itself out, but the smaller part, his Gnomish daughter launched a lively empire within an empire that became the most technologically advanced in the Realm.
