Town of Alfirin
Walking through Alfirin in the dead of night or on a sunny day, and you are doing nothing more than walking through the woods. This is because Alfirin only exists in the physical plane at dawn and dusk. If you are inside its borders when the other side of twilight falls, you cannot leave until it comes again. That is assuming you knew it was there in the first place, which most do not.
Once inside, Alfirin is a hub for trade between the material plane and the Faewild. At the gate you receive an Anchor Token, which binds you to a timeline concurrent with the material plane. If you venture beyond the bounds of the town and too far from the gate, time can get very weird.
