Western Dwarf
Unlike their Eastern counterparts, they have never served or revered dragons. In fact, Western Dwarven legends have much to say about the greed of dragons, though the hordes of their own kings rival those of some dragons.
Most Western Dwarves believe that each kind of material on the earth has a deity that represents it. They do not believe that these gods care at all about mortals, so they are not truly worshipped. Although each deity has a true name, most just refer to them as the material they represent.

Common Dress code
It is expected of Western Dwarves to cover their loins and legs, which are seen as quite sexual. Trousers are a clothing item worn by both men and women and skirts are seen as incredibly promiscuous. It is not uncommon for Western Dwarves visiting Human settlements to be shocked by the number of women wearing dresses and skirts.

Western Dwarves live in city-state like communities, usually ruled by a King. These kings are usually the head of the most powerful and wealthy family in the community, but some are inherited monarchies and a few are even democratically elected.
There was once a Western Dwarvish Kingdom that ruled the Timmarin Peninsula. It fell during the Gnome War in 1045.
