Chapter 13: The Road Less Traveled
General Summary
Fresh and ready to go, the party went onto the path up the mountain. Passing through a network of caverns with the use of a relic that lit the path markers along the way. Fending off a cyclops in their way up ensured no other creature would mess with them.
Arriadne further confirmed her intended actions in the coming weeks ahead, to shake the very foundations of this world to prompt the change needed for its survival.
At the end of the paths, the party found an abandoned Old World facility, largely remaining intact. Its Guardian came to investigate the party, cloaked in invisibility, until Lakmir forced it out of hiding. Sending the rest of the party on its way, it revealed the job of Guardian to Samantha, and that in order to earn its blessing, she must deal with a threat to the world.
To help with the task, Pricia the Observant and Kale appear ready to do whatever must be done.
