Chapter 31: Pantheon's Anger Management

General Summary

Samantha encountered Kale  in the lobby, who shared some insight into his own life up to this point, and his experience with situations similar to the one Sam finds herself in. He expressed the need to have mind, body and soul all believe firmly in a cause, allowing her to harness the power of Conviction as a weapon to wield in the mission ahead.
In order to facilitate a smooth operation of the other teams, the League and Samantha will have to take care of some priority targets beforehand. Their first target being the simulacrum of Anemar, conjured up by Warmaster Avery the Jubilant. Perhaps summoned simply out of duty to his mission, or to further promote a different agenda, the matter of dealing with the summoned beast rested with Kale and Samantha.
Once briefed and transported to the islands far above even the Skylands, Kale took to it to challenge the beast using his sword, Ravenspear. Though likely capable of managing just fine, Pricia the Observant managed to escape captivity and join the party for this engagement, not wanting to be left out of the fun.
After a long battle against the beast, Samantha was once more able to deliver the killing blow, sending the beast down towards the surface, where its aether spread out over the nearby lands. A wall of wind now covers part of the Skylands, preventing people from entering and exiting both until something is done about it. Yet the most stubborn of people may find a way through.
