The Aetherial Void

An utterly inhospitable dimension closely bordering the known universe. The Void, as it’s often called, is densely packed with unbound aether which has reached a state of equilibrium, resulting in an environment where seemingly nothing happens. The Void is often tapped by those aware of its existence as a source of power, syphoning the vast stores of aether for their own uses.

Inhabitants

Though extremely rare, the Void is host to some life forms which are capable of subsisting within the suffocating clouds of aether. As there’s no surface, gravity or readily available nutrition, the beings must be capable to traverse seas of aether and feed off of its presence. As of this date, the only known life forms from the Void are composed of gas- and plasma-state matter.
