Inkhand

Inkhands are the initiates of The Fellowship of Quill and Shield. As the lowest ranking members, they work in The Athenaeum, finding, sorting, and cataloging books and assisting full members. In exchange, the Fellowship provides them a free education at the hands of some of the brightest minds in the world.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

An Inkscribe can be dismissed for breaking any rules of the organization, including but not limited to, the damaging of books, falsifiying research, or neglecting their duties.

Length of Term

Inkhands are eligiable for promotion to Wordshield or Penscribe after 2 years, although it may take longer for some.
