The Athenaeum
The Athaenium is quite possibly the largest repository of knowledge in the known world. Made up of countless books, scrolls, artifacts, and much more, the Athaenium is a massive tower, but the majority of it is built deep underground, so far, that it hasn’t been fully mapped. New sections are discovered regularly, and there are tales of people going missing in its depths. It is common belief that the deepest levels lead directly into the Underdark.
The upper floors have been converted into quarters for the The Fellowship of Quill and Sword as well as private quarters for the higher ranking members.

The Athenaeum is a huge, ancient library that has been adopted as the headquarters of The Fellowship of Quill and Sword.

The Spiral has remained largely unchanged from the time Illsharn moved in, with some minor restoration work and refurnishing being done.

The Athenaeum is huge, and is built deep into the ground. The floor descends to the earth in a slow spiral, bookshelves lining the walls.
History
The Athenaeum existed long before the The Fellowship of Quill and Sword made it their headquarters. The Fellowship has been restoring the building, bit by bit, for over a century.

The Athenaeum attracts scholars from around the world, searching for answers among the millions of books.
