The Realm

The Realm is the known world: all known human settlements lie within the Realm, and the existence of surviving humans in the outside world is a matter of debate. The Realm consists of three regions: The Inland Region, The Southern Realm, and The Northern Realm.

Geography

The settled areas of the Realm are mostly contianed within the Diira River Delta, and settlments generally cluster around the canals built by The Ancestor Civilization. Villages are typically built on islands, surrounded on all sides by a waterway. Less commonly, villages are bordered by a marsh.
