Homebrew Rules
Here are all the current homebrew rules that we are using in our campaign! Like the One D&D playtest doc, this list will grow and fluctuate as we continue to play-- both as we find cool ideas/content we want to try, and as we decide to try and innovate ourselves!
- Homebrew races/subclasses/items/spells are welcomed! Don't feel like I need to explain this at all. New and unique content = a more fun and interesting campaign.
- Grievous & Lingering Wounds: When a character takes a massive amount of damage, they will sustain more lasting and/or devastating injuries. A single source of damage dropping a character from full HP to half or less would be a possible grievous wound, while a single source dropping from full HP to 0 (or death) would always result in a wound. A character takes damage while unconscious would receive a grievous wound as well. When a character receives a wound, the DM will roll on a table (that I will add to this doc at some point maybe probably) or in certain instances pick a wound from the table that fits best; most of these wounds will have some sort of mechanical disadvantage, and will linger for various amounts of time (ranging from 1d4 days to forever). More details on this to come if people want/need them, but that's the brief!
