Nimhue (a.k.a. The Lady of the Lake)

A powerful and reclusive Archfey, the Lady of the Lake is said to grant life-changing gifts to those who are worthy-- if they are able to find her. Legends say that she resides in a castle hidden below the surface of a lake, waiting in the depths for heroes to make themselves known. She is said to be both a skilled enchanter and a master of divination, able to bestow both magical items and visions of the future. Of course, such boons must be earned, and her lake is hidden deep within the Feywild; her magic bends the areas around the lake in order to challenge those who seek her, and a final test is said to await any who meet her face to face.
Since the Realignment, Nimhue and her lake have become even more elusive; so elusive, in fact, that even other Archfey no longer have a clue where she resides. There are whispers that her domain has disappeared from the Feywild altogether, begging the question: is Nimhue's mystical lake hidden somewhere in Raen'dor?
