The Secret Study

Discovered by Siobhan and Polydora during their first year at Nightcrest Academy (and later found by Oliver and Lucretia), this private study is accessed via a secret door in Classroom #3; behind the door, a tiny hallway and cramped staircase lead down to the study itself. The study is nicely furnished and well decorated; there are maps, paintings and diagrams on the walls, including portraits of Castalia Nightcrest and Theodas Wildemere. It has a hearth, a desk, a small couch, a comfy chair, and a well-stocked personal library.
The books in the study fall under three primary categories: languages, architectural design, and magical theory. The language books cover everything from widely spoken languages (Elvish, Orcish, etc.) to more far-flung languages (Celestial, Abyssal, Infernal the magical theory books cover not only traditional theory, but also more experimental and now-forbidden magic. There are some outliers among the books as well-- the majority of which have already been noticed and claimed by Siobhan, Oliver or Lucretia.
