World Calendar Overview & Link

While the calendar doesn't affect any of the game's mechanical rules, I decided to include it here as explaining why the calendar is the way it is really doesn't fit in the world itself (I'm sure I could explain it, but I do not want to). With that said, here's a review of how the calendar works in this world:   By far the biggest difference between the calendar used in Raen’dor (and all of the Material Plane) and our own real-life calendar is that there are only 280 days in a year. I came to this number because I wanted an even number of days to divide between the seasons (more on that in a bit) and I think a shorter in-game year will lead to more dynamic changes as time passes in the campaign (more seasons will be cycled through, characters will age a bit quicker in terms of play time out of game*, etc).   *Because time is weird and gets very complicated when you start trying to figure out how age and maturity would match up with a shortened year, just remember this important rule: all characters in the world age in the same way we do relative to the years lived (which just means that a character like Fantasia, for example, is 18 according to the Calendar, and is also an actual 18 year old in-game as we understand that age). It seems obvious when you don't think about it too hard, but as an over-thinker when it comes to this stuff I wanted to make a note of this so that there isn't any question as to level of maturity, development etc. with the shortened year.   These 280-day years are tracked by the four seasons rather than months; each season represents one-fourth, or 70 days, of the year. The four seasons are familiar: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Unlike our calendar, however, first day of spring marks a new year, while the last day of winter is the last day of the year.   The link to the in-game calendar is: https://app.fantasy-calendar.com/calendars/47a870bc1de6dcc8a1bd684db1b7db29
