The rise of the Failon Dynasty

Founding

2274BA

The Failon Dynasty encompassed the Westernmost part of Taifar, from Temok (its capitol) to the edge of the map and ending at the norther mountain range.

The Failon Dynasty was home to many humans (spread throughout) and tieflings (especially in the jungles), and even some gnomes and halflings (in the rain-fed hill areas). The Failon Dynasty formed as the city of Temok rose to power and began to expand their influence. The first Failon regent was Mavine Failon, a powerful tiefling sorcerer who helped rid the region outside of Temok of monsters and opened up trade routes to the rest of what would become the Failon Dynasty. The regents of the Failon Dynasty has been loved their people for their commitment to improving the quality of life for them (starting with Mavine).
The people of the Failon Dynasty practiced rituals of the Old Faith like the people of Avinia. They, however, did not make it an official state religion and their people were more about individual spirituality than organized religion. Their culture tends to revolve around Melha, god of happiness and joy, Kamika, god of travel, and Malimi, god of nature.
