The Crimson Jewels
The Crimson Jewels is a cult operating within the Empire of Dreus. Under the guise of a merchant guild and self-help group, they sell jewelry and gems while having popular figures who promote their beliefs who are either members or some way under the sway of the gems.
Structure
At the top of the Jewel's Hierarchy are the archons. There are eight archons who act as advisors and leaders who give the final say to one High Archon. This High Archon leads all and no one's beliefs will overstep what the High Archon proclaims, but the original High Archon was an understanding leader meaning these issues rarely, if ever arose.
The rest of the Archons each co-led a sect of the jewels which were interconnected and only separate in function, not belief.
The First Archon and the Second Archon lead the Diamond Sect. This sect are the guards and military forces of the Jewels, and they protect major figures and move on the enemies of the guild. The ranks of this sect are: Crimson Commander, Crimson Guardian, Protector, and initiates.
The Third and Fourth Archons lead the Black Sapphire Sect. This sect are comprised of religious speakers who study and interpret the teachings of their dead god. The ranks of this sect are: Blood Binders, Crimson Zealots, Believers, and Initiates.
The Fifth and Sixth Archons lead the Jacinth sect of the cult. This sect is comprised of inspiring figures. They provide entertainment and a heartbeat to the whole cult. The ranks of this sect are: Rythmas, Crimson Recruiters, Entertainers, and Initiates.
The Seventh and Eight Archons lead the Ruby Sect. The Ruby Sect are the economic side of the cult, operating as the face of "the guild" of the Crimson Jewels. The ranks of this sect are: Crimson Salesman, Crimson Jeweler, Merchant, and Initiate.
Public Agenda
The Crimson Jewels promises to make the world a more beautiful place for those who can see those who pay.
History
The High Archon of the Crimson Jewels was a member of an adventuring party who became the only survivor after stumbling upon the tomb of Ravzoth, the Blood Fiend. In the end, Ravzoth let him through the portal and he ended up, floating alone in the astral, staring at a ruby corpse. He pieced what he could together of the information given and formed his beliefs. By the time he was able to return to the world, it was different from the one he left. He saw this Dreus figure as an enemy and devoted his life to defeating the figure.
