Ma'Tesula
It is quite the sight to behold, to see a glimpse into the civilization of the Elves. - Excavator
Purpose / Function
It's theorized that the ruins were originally some temple to one of the Elven gods due to the ruin's design, and there are signs of religious objects and statues found in chambers. However, no one can find evidence to discover which one it was as there are very few records that managed to survive.
Architecture
The design of the ruins is Elven design. Despite it being old and rundown, it is in good condition. The stone craftsmanship has held much better than expected, with some of the stones being pure white, suggesting that many parts are made of marble. With carvings etched into the remaining wall of the building, many are ruined from erosion, and those that are primarily intact a barely understandable. A vast array of chambers can be found under the ruins as well that are more preserved.
History
Rediscovery
The ruins were rediscovered accidentally in the Vakra Hills and have been extensively studied by anyone who seeks answers to the lost history of the Elves that lived in the west. Considering that ruins such as these are far and few since the fall of their great empire. It has become more apparent that many wish to learn any secrets to what they once knew that could advance their society to the height they once had. With excavations done over time in search of relics and documents, scholars could find them here. Though none of it has ever revealed the true purpose of the ruins besides being a temple and that its name is Ma'Tesula, which lacks any means of translating its meaning as Elusah is difficult to decipher. However, it has not stopped people from coming here in search of answers in or around it.
