X3074

X3074 is an unpopulated system that provides many ores and minerals used throughout the Junction Expanse. The system consists of a small mining contingent supporting the automated mining operations (not counted since they are transient) and a unique automated transportation system to take the minerals from the asteroids to a central facility where it is then loaded onto ships that will take the unrefined materials where they are needed. There is a small security contingent to help protect the miners from pirates, but none of it is permanent as ships and personnel are rotated in and out of the system on a regular basis.
