The Moonhollow Illusionists
The Moonhollow Illusionists is a wizards college. It's well established, and the somewhat small faction has an excellent reputation, and is motivated by politics. They are against the current political regime.
Moonhollow is policed by The Moonhollow Illusionists, rather than a separate guard. The guard is severely underfunded, and their equipment is always in disrepair. Their officers are held accountable for their actions only when undefined calls for it, though The Moonhollow Illusionists does not have the funding to train their recruits, resulting in bullies being commonplace.
Members of The Moonhollow Illusionists are identifiable by the sash that members are given. Membership requires a display of skill, and costs a single gold piece. The initiation into The Moonhollow Illusionists involves a secret ritual.
Structure
It's ruled by a cabinet of 12, who were the strongest of the group. They are quite incompetent, and their positions on the cabinet are quite unstable due to internal power struggles. Their meetings are held every other day, and are are open to anyone. Bribes to the cabinet will be met with laughter.
Assets
They have extensive resources. A significant number of artifacts are in their proverbial warchest, as are one or two valuable magical trinkets, one or two valuable trade goods, and some magic scrolls.
