Moonhollow

Moonhollow is a town located on the polar plains, where the vegetation is sparse. Moonhollow grew around a well maintained road, and is comprised of many different races, with the most common race being halfling. They are a patriarchal feudalist democratic republic that worships Scorpio.   The nearest landmark is a tall rock surrounded by 20 evenly spaced smaller rocks. The smaller rocks have ancient number tunes on them, this structure is clearly some ancient sundial. A population of 5060, the denizens live a squalid existence.

The people of Moonhollow work the land in exchange for working their lord's lands. Affairs are handled by the people, the head of whom is Mr Srorthen Shestendeliath.   Law and Order
The guard presence in Moonhollow is a militia; policing is carried out by The Moonhollow Illusionists, and there is rarely any need for the use of force. Law breakers are judged by community tribunals. Law in Moonhollow is reform-based, and those that breach the laws can expect fines, penalties, or work-release programs to provide them with the best possible chance to not become a recidivist. Magic is not codified into the laws, though the local guards would be more likely to treat it as a threat rather than not.

Industry & Trade

Caveat emptor is the guiding philosophy of Moonhollow, and people live a squalid existence because of it. Without any taxes or regulations, the free market reigns supreme here. Welfare is non existent. Citizens can expect the absolute bare minimum of death services. Healthcare and education are totally ignored, and those unable to fend for themselves starve.
