The manmade Telvar of Heldar was activated and split the Seal, cracking it in two, as infernal armies swelled out of the crack making way for the impending release of Dom-Zar, an event that would have transpired had Merlin not used the gift bestowed upon him to hold the land shut.

Despite this the Seal was forever changed, dark spirits returned to the world, where once there was only the Celestial, Material and Infernal realms now the material realm had lesser planes of its own, and though it is not known for cirtain the same is estimated for the Celestial and Infernal realms as well.
