The Kivox Disaster

Despite many warning signs the Crescentine Cult attack on the city of Kivox and the seizing of the Telvar of Enchantment came as a shock to the Seal.
As bad as the unpreparedness of the Seal what truly made this a tragic event was the complete lack of Union aid to Donsteed, save for the rouge actions of Idria and Nochi that made this event stand out as the catalist for the declarations of Independance.

Dispite many warning signs that the cult of Crescentar/Dom-Zar was becoming more active after the enslaught of the Elemental Iles the Kivox Disaster took the Seal by storm, as a legion of demons, drow, Shadar-kai and orks took siezed control of the southern city of Kivox from the inside and marched on the Telvar of Enchantment, seizing the tower as the then head of the Cult Alariel tower breaker did battle with Quenguar Elsa the gifter.
  As bad as the unpreparedness of the Seal was, what truly made this a tragic event was the complete lack of a Union aid to Donsteed. In fact in the emergancy Crown Council meeting called on the 15^th of Lin, three days into the disaster to decide how to respond, the council was split, Donsteed Idria, Nochi and Danborn voted to form a coalition army to liberate Kivox but were opposed by Eldenstar, Helden, Riftdawn and Draugheim. As has always been done they aproaced Eldenclaw, the Eternal Crown, for a deciding vote and he decreed that no aid should be sent as Dosteed untiil "the incident posed a tangiable threat to the entire Seal".

Despite thise orders Donsteed, Nochi and Idria formed a coalition army that on the 28^th of Lin assembled in the forwards operating camp outside Kivox.
The years life offensive was the first major assult of the Kivox war, the coalition army battled for control of the land around Kivox, this assult was lead by King Harrold of Donsteed who lead cavalry units from all three kingdoms. Once the land was secured King Wilbur lead the assult on the city, it was the battle that made him famous as an unmatched tactician and the city was soon back in Union hands. All that was left was for an Idrian airborn unit to whipe away the last of the Cultists around the Telvar.
By the 6^th of Kio, the incident was declared over and the reconstruction began, however the whiplash was immense, in the comanding tent upon the Kivox battlefeild King Wilbur, Queen Stelariel and King Harrold agreed that the Crown Union could no longer serve there best inrests and made a pact together to break free of the Union and together guard each others independace.
