Fettucine

Until recently, Fettucine was a con artist’s henchman, the big dumb goon who stood behind them and made the whole thing seem official. The con involved taking in family trinkets for cheap, in trade for supposedly valuable magic items. As a dwarf, Fettucine lent some believability to the appraising-family-trinkets scam, by giving off a general aura of knowing about metals and workmanship and such.
A little while ago, Fettucine and his boss came to Malfa in search of fresh pickings. Pretty soon Fettucine’s employer pissed off the wrong people and scarpered, leaving Fettucine in the lurch. He’s decided he knows enough about the con to keep it going himself, but sadly, he’s not bright enough either to be good at it, or to know he’s not good at it.
Fettucine is a mountain dwarf from the East; the Hewellen and other hill dwarves of Chadun don’t have much in common with him culturally.
