Goblin ancestor worship
Goblins in the Forges venerate some of the same gods as other underground peoples, but they also venerate their ancestors. This isn't terribly unusual, but unlike other peoples, they will also carry relics of their ancestors, like saints' relics. If a goblin is wearing a phylactery of leather with gold embossing, it probably contains the fingerbone of an ancestor. Some other peoples think this is barbaric, which always surprises goblins, to whom it's just common sense. This practice means it's important in goblin culture to reclaim the bodies of the dead. In war between goblins, this is always respected; in war with other peoples, goblins who lose a battle will often re-raid the battlefield to gather up their dead comrades. Goblin priests are always clerics of the Ancestor Domain (see the expansion Grizelda's Guide to Ghost Hunting)
