Religion in the Sealands
Religion in this setting is, in general, very pluralistic. People worship or venerate a variety of different divine beings (or non-beings), from powerful extra-planar creatures to local river spirits to disembodied forces of nature. Some never manifest, which might or might not mean they don’t exist; some really-existing entities apparently enjoy being worshipped, and some might not be aware of what mortal beings get up to. Worship can mean the sort of highly ceremonious religious devotion, or leaving “offerings” of fruit at a particular spring as a gesture of respect to the spirit who lives there.
