Old Thalma

Old Thalma was the original language of the Thalma Empire prior to the Blue Crisis. At the beginning of the Blue Crisis however this language was linked to magic causing any word to be spoken in it to act as a magical summon. This wreaked havoc on the world and left the Thalma society in ruin.
Eventually the Thalma people developed a new language referred to as New Thalma, some words from the original language were altered but most were completely rewritten as to avoid any mispronunciation of more common words

Writing System

The old Thalma writing system was a complex set of symbols. Each symbol contained a specific stroke or shape which conveyed different sounds. However common words were often assigned their own simplified symbol. Some symbols were connected to different words and could only be understood due to the placement before or after specific symbols. The grammar system of Thalma was quite loose, some words could only be conveyed as combination of two words written or spoken in succession ex: "Selesaris Skryses" - Meaning "Plasma". When the symbols are to be conveyed as a separate words they are written as "Selesaris Pel Skryses" - translated to "Fire and Storm".
