The Blue Crisis

After 1000 years of global development the Thalma people were unprepared for the event that followed. On the 4th month of the Thalma calendar a strange celestial event occurred referred to as "The Blue Crisis". A Blue sun appeared in the sky causing days to grow longer and nights shorter. The heat began to scorch the equator zones of Alphamor 9 converting parts of the landscape to an intensely hot desert. This however was the least of the Thalma peoples concerns, as with this new sun came a new power that they had little knowledge how to control.

Upon the arrival of the Blue Sun every person on the planet was granted the power of magic and with it any words spoken in Thalma would cause an adverse effect. Simple phrases could cause homes to set ablaze, or flood an entire town. For long this caused chaos across the planet some slowly learning to use their abilities to topple the governments that stood at the time. This destruction wrecked havoc for nearly 500 years pushing the Thalma species to near extinction but after so long a hero emerged.   This hero took a form unlike any had ever seen, a large feline with a mane of blue flames. Entran told the Thalma she spoke for the blue sun, a god who wished to gift the universe with the power of magic. She promised to help the Thalma catalog and develop an understanding of magic, acting as their guide to the complexity of their new power. With help from Entran the Blue crisis came to an end and a new Era for the Thalma had begun.
