The Morcroft Clan
The Banner of the Morcroft Clan depicts a black and red dragon upside down on a purple and gold field divided per bend with a Terrace ordinary. The purple represents Morgause le Fay and the gold for Arthur Ambrosius the 1st, slanted against each other for their incestuous union. The black dragon represents Mordred's betrayal and the clan's decline.

Sword Enemies -- Show No Mercy
The Morcroft are seen as a plague on the bloodline of the le Fay Clan and on more than one occasion they have tried to wipe each other out.
Sworn Enemies, Betrayal on Every Level
The Morcroft Clan descend from Mordred, the bastard son of Arthur and his half-sister. They and the Ambrosius Clan have hated each other for an age and will continue to hate each other for another age. The Ambrosius see them as tainted blood and the Morcroft view them as weak.
Sword Enemies -- Show No Mercy
When Sir Mordred was killed by Sir Lancelot in Mirkwood, Lancelot personally led a hunting party to slay the remaining sons of Mordred, innocent or not, and only one escaped his wrath. The du Lac Clan have waged a constant and terrible war on the Morcroft Clan wherever they can find them and are ceaseless in their pursuit.
