Mystra
God of Crossings
As the god of passage, many pray to Mystra before a long or dangerous journey, seeking her guidance. Rarely does she respond, and when she does it is most often in the form of cryptic dreams. Mystra is also the god of lost knowledge, and any advice she gives is never clear.
Mystra is slippery in a way many of the gods are not. She will exist as long as things change, as long as journeys are made. She maintains balance only by constantly encouraging change in the world, never allowing it to set in one place. She sees herself as a servant of the mortal world, but mostly to those who have earned her favor.

Relationship Reasoning
The Raven Queen secretly resents Mystra's meetings with the mortal dead. She would rather have complete control over their fates, and desperately wonders what memories the mortals will secretly recount to Mystra that they hide from her. However, Mystra is one of the few beings the Raven Queen trusts to be committed to ensuring the passage of the dead. Mystra, though by rights should abhor the Raven Queen, as she is an undead god, seemingly tolerates her for keeping the balance of the world.
Relationship Reasoning
Mystra despises Vecna. He is the only one who has truly avoided her reach, and became an undead god with no one's permission but his own. On top of that, he hoards secrets only for himself, rather than encouraging mortals to find and reveal them. Vecna is one of the only gods who truly understands Mystra's power, and is both respectful and afraid of her.
Relationship Reasoning
Asmodeus constantly steals mortals from Mystra's grasp, as any who make a deal with a devil for their soul will never set foot on Mystra's shores. Asmodeus views Mystra as his primary adversary, and constantly vies with her for power. Secretly, he views her with some respect, as a worthy foe compared to all the other gods.
Relationship Reasoning
Thassa bears a chilly respect for Mystra. In a time before reckoning, boundaries divided the god of the sea's dominion from the Mystra's great rivers. Though the god of the sea quietly resents sharing even a drop of water, she considers the god of passage to be a quiet, unobtrusive trespasser on her favored element and keeps her distance. Were her respect to wane, though, Thassa would eagerly vie to control the Rivers That Ring the World.
Relationship Reasoning
Pelor is plagued by a nagging suspicion that the true ruler of the pantheon is Mystra, a mysterious being with control over the boundaries of the worlds. Mystra is perhaps the only being who can impose limits on the other gods' actions, which makes Pelor resent and fear the god of boundaries. Mystra strives to hold herself above the disputes of the gods, but like any other god, she has both rivals and allies. Chief among the former is the Pelor, whom Mystra sees as an arrogant, dangerous threat to the balance of power among the gods. She seldom acts against Pelor openly, preferring to warn others about the sun god's efforts to seize power at their expense.
