Qualifications
Extensive religious study, diplomacy skills, and special training.
Requirements
Must have served under the Church, typically under the Order of Ministers. They will be tested by the Vessel and the Diet of Friars before being allowed to take their role.
Appointment
Must be selected by the Vessel and then appointed with a ceremony.
Duties
The Cardinals administer to the broad demands of church and state. Some focus on bureaucracy while those who have joined from the Order of Ministers will lean towards matters of faith.
Responsibilities
Advising the Vessel and helping to interpret their visions, relying information to the Emperor, communicating with their fellow cardinals, postulating to the public, and general management of their territory.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Corruption or inappropriate actions can prompt the other Cardinals and the Vessel to expel a Cardinal from the order, which brings dire consequences.
