Neridiel Homes
Purpose / Function
Once home to the Neridels, providing a fine and comfortable home for the small family. When his parents left for a settlement outside the woods he began to use it to house his militia, making minor alterations to the property. Said alterations only increased when he welcomed Taxes' village folk to stay with them while they avoided the repercussions of the rebellion.
Alterations
A large garden has been added to the side, hosting special plants, many which only grow in these woods. Little glens and dens have been added to the surrounding trees for faerie folk, and the villagers now rest both in the main house and in large gleaming mushrooms that have sprouted across the property.
Architecture
Carved finely and with an otherworldly faerie grace, giving it a similar yet distinct look to ancient elvish architecture. The walls glow with a pleasant green light, crafted from magical wood. The windows are stark white and curved, along with the shindling of the roof, which is wrapped in pleasant ivy.
Dotted around the home are house sized mushrooms, fit to house a few small folk. They glow and vary in darker colors with spots and patterns.
Defenses
Guards are positioned in the trees around the property when defense is needed, as well as snares and other traps.
History
The ancestral home of the Neridiel family, living within its walls for centuries in a calm and peaceful life befitting the old elves. They used to interact with their neighbors, who've all left now for bigger and safer settlements.
