Once a prominent figure in the Rising Sun organization, Alina held the de facto leadership position. The secret society's primary mission was to eradicate Memoc and his lineage, along with other demonic threats, utilizing any means necessary.
The Rising Sun's approach often brought them into direct conflict with The Benefactors. Although both organizations shared similar principles and objectives, the Rising Sun's disregard for human casualties and their embrace of extreme force and violence drew widespread condemnation from The Benefactors.
Alina, formerly a KGB agent turned CIA mole, firmly believed that loyalty should never outweigh the well-being of her fellow countrymen. Witnessing the fall of the USSR and the liberation of her nation, she was recruited by The Rising Sun due to her exceptional skill set, which proved invaluable in gathering information about Memoc and other supernatural menaces through any available means. Her remarkable successes in leading numerous operations propelled her swiftly to the pinnacle of the organization's leadership.
When it was discovered that Memoc had resurfaced in the guise of Casey Cameron, The Rising Sun launched a series of assaults on him and The Benefactors, precipitating an all-out conflict that exacted a heavy toll on both sides. However, an unexpected encounter between Alina, Casey, and a Benefactor named Vlad forced them to collaborate in order to avert an imminent catastrophe. This experience profoundly altered Alina's perspective on The Rising Sun's methods and goals.
Alina rallied like-minded individuals within the Rising Sun, attempting to instigate a transformation of the organization from within. Unfortunately, her plan backfired, plunging the group into a bloody civil war. Teetering on the verge of defeat, Alina made a pivotal decision, leading her faction to join forces with The Benefactors.
Within The Benefactors' ranks, Alina emerged as a valuable member. While initial tensions arose between the former Rising Sun members and their new allies, these challenges were eventually overcome through mutual trials. Alina herself found love and married Vlad, a fellow Benefactor, with whom she had a daughter. Her ultimate aspiration remained the unification of the remaining Rising Sun members with The Benefactors, fostering a collaborative environment.
Alina's dream materialized when the deranged sorcerer Archon reemerged, decimating the numbers of both organizations. Seizing the opportunity, she skillfully negotiated a lasting peace, effectively merging the two groups into a singular entity.
Proudly serving the newly formed Benefactors for many years, Alina's blissful existence took an unexpected turn when her husband became consumed by an obsession to locate all the magical wellsprings on Earth. Choosing a different path, Alina opted to disappear with her daughter, seeking solace in the pursuit of a quieter life free from the tumultuous realm of the supernatural. Their current whereabouts remain unknown.
