Chandrei

Chandrei, the White Moon of Fall In the ancient times, Chandrei was known as one of the powerful Annin goddesses who governed over the cycle of life and death. She was said to be a stern and unwavering deity, presiding over the passing of seasons with a steady hand.   However, Chandrei's existence was abruptly cut short during the war against the Veannin, a rival faction of deities that sought to conquer and subjugate the Annin. Amidst the chaos of the battlefield, Chandrei was fatally wounded, and her spirit was flung into the vast expanse of the cosmos.   Yet, instead of perishing into nothingness, her essence was drawn to one of the moons that orbited the world. Her spirit merged with the lunar energy, and she became the White Moon of Fall, casting a pale glow over the land.   As the goddess of death and rebirth, Chandrei was believed to oversee the passage of time, and the inevitable cycles of growth, decay, and transformation. She was said to guide souls through the realm of the afterlife, shepherding them towards their next incarnation.   Despite her new celestial form, Chandrei's power and influence remained strong. Many believed they could feel her presence, especially during the cool autumnal nights, when her luminous radiance illuminated the world.   To this day, Chandrei is still venerated as a potent deity by many. She represents the perpetual cycle of birth, death, and renewal that is a fundamental part of life. Her worshipers offer her reverence and supplication, in hopes of receiving her blessings and guidance.   Even though Chandrei no longer walks among mortals as a goddess, her legacy endures. Her spirit lives on in the natural world and the hearts of those who honor her name.
