The Legacy
Oussia was once a proud kingdom with a long and illustrious history. Its greatest warriors were known as The Legacy, a renowned organization sworn to protect the kingdom from any threat. Unlike other kingdom's crown guards, The Legacy had no fealty to the king or queen, only to the country itself. If a ruler was deemed unfit to lead, The Legacy would remove them from the throne.
For generations, The Legacy stood as the pinnacle of martial prowess and dedication to the kingdom. The warriors of The Legacy were trained from a young age, honing their skills in combat and strategy to become the finest defenders of Oussia. They were respected and feared in equal measure, their mere presence on the battlefield enough to strike fear into the hearts of their enemies.
Despite their fearsome reputation, The Legacy also held a deep respect for the common people of Oussia. They saw themselves as protectors of the kingdom and its people, and worked tirelessly to ensure their safety and prosperity. Many tales are told of The Legacy intervening on behalf of peasants, merchants, and other non-noble citizens who were being mistreated or oppressed by the ruling class.
However, the glory days of Oussia and The Legacy came to a tragic end when the kingdom was conquered by the Alyssian Empire. The kingdom lost all hope after their King and Queen were murdered, and the Legacy had difficulty inspiring the soldiers of the military to keep up the fight. In the end, Oussia fell and the Legacy disbanded. It is believed that most, if not all, of the members of the Legacy were killed during the conflict.
Despite their defeat, The Legacy's legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of those who remember the valor and dedication of these noble warriors. Many tales and legends still circulate throughout Oussia, recounting the heroism of The Legacy in battle and their unwavering loyalty to the kingdom. Though they are gone, their memory will forever be cherished as a symbol of Oussia's strength and resilience in the face of adversity.
