Bluecoat
Bluecoats are the protectors of the citizenry of Doskvol, most of the time. Occasionally, opportunity overtakes their better nature.
Prestige: Bluecoats are mostly distrusted, but the majority of Duskers have no need to worry about them. The less reputable citizens see them as an unavoidable neussance. A decent enough bribe, and you can divert their unwanted attention, most of the time.
Accoutrement: They wear sturdy woolen blue uniforms, hence the moniker "bluecoat." They will usually have a whistle, a truncheon, shackles, and a flare gun. Occasionally, they will be additionally outfitted with more weapons, armor, dogs, or whatever their task requires.
Training: A short exam is kind of a formality as part of the bluecoat training academy. Mostly, they just learn how to beat someone until they stop resisting. A few coins and a short training course, and they give you a bluecoat and a license to harass the honest citizens of The Dusk.
