Brewer
Brewers are more akin to alchemists in Doskvol. They seem to be able to make liquor out of anything. Most of the brews are a mushroom derivative. They are spiced with whatever may be handy. Little regulation is levied against the brewers, as a sober Doskvol is a discontent Doskvol. As a result, the brewers are left to their own devices. More than a couple of breweries have exploded over the years or poisoned a healthy portion of the populace. Few brewers have the opportunity to work with grains. This rare treat is reserved for the ultra-wealthy. Whiskey is a luxury. Brewers are usually contracted directly for whiskeys and other grain alcohols and are carefully watched throughout the process to ensure no undue loss of product. Brewers are an inventive lot, though, and they often find ways to syphon off some in the process. Those who still have barrels typically hide them.
