Red Lamp Brothel

The Red Lamp stands a tall four stories. On the exterior, a red covered lantern is set in every window. Becasue of this, the Lantern itself glows in the dim light of Silkshore with a welcoming red hue. Curtains of deep red flow throughout the main courtyard, which takes up the entirety of the first floor. The courtyard is enclosed but has an open ceiling where terraces of the second and third floor open inward. Courtyard consists of many sitting pillows that circle diluted powder hookahs. In the center of the courtyard sits a two sided stage complete with a trap room, curtain rigging, and any other accoutrement that enable the courtesans to show off their varied and ever growing talents. It is quite common for performances of the classic plays to be performed here, much cheaper than those put on at the Spiregarden and often more expertly performed. Guests go up to the second and third floor for the courtesan's rooms, never having to leave the brothel but feeling as though one is heading to a personal apartment. Each interior has a look designed by the courtesan to impress the suitors. The ceiling, which is the floor of the fourth floor, is painted with arts that former and current courtesans painted. Fourth floor contains private rooms, VIP rooms, a rooftop entrance that is rarely used, and the Madame's personal apartments. District: Silkshore
Sights: Beautiful courtesans of every type lounge and prowl the grounds, seeking out lonely clients. Clients laugh and chat in hookah circles with courtesans, the air remains clear as the often sweet smoke rises through the open courtyard. Red curtains three stories tall sway in the breeze. A stage is always in use for dancing, plays, poetry, musical recitals, and more. The scene is one of constant movement, but all encouraging the viewer to stay and relax.
Sounds: Laughter from courtesans and suiters alike breaks past the gentle instrumentals. On occasion, an unruly suiter is escorted from the premesis by guards, as the curses of indignation penetrate the calming atmosphere.
Smells: Sweet smells mask the sour odors of all kinds of powder being burned in the hookahs. A carefully curated medly of perfumes compliments each other, as the unoccupied courtesans remain in constant movement, ensuring no one is lonely or in want of options.
