Shipwright
Shipwrights are serious engineers, having to engineer ships that not only float, but can withstand the horrors that live beneath the sea. They also have to repair the ships that come back.
Prestige: Shipwrights are treated with the utmost respect. Their knowledge is prized and while not terribly well guarded, the sheer complexity of their plans will be well beyond most Duskers.
Accoutrement: Plans, measuring tools, crews, cranes, drydocks, and more are the tools of the shipwright. A shipwright may only make 4 or 5 large ships in their lifetime, but the vessels they craft are marvels of art and engineering, and often the pride of their owners.
Training: Shipwrights will usually apprentice as a crewmember for another shipwright as well as self-educate and attend formal classes. The path to becoming a shipwright is long and arduous.
