Loki's Gungeon
Loki's God Dungeon, nicknamed 'Gungeon' as a port-manteau of God and Dungeon, is a dungeon seemingly located in the western half of Ysgör, however it is not certain whether it's location is fixed.
The dungeon itself contains puzzles intended to test entrants, seemingly for the amusement of the Trickster God Loki. The main goal for entrants of the dungeon is to locate 7 keys which must be placed into the dungeon's central stone in order to reveal the exit. The main goal for entrants of the dungeon is to locate 7 keys which must be placed into the dungeon's central stone in order to reveal the exit. These keys are obtained through a series of trials, though it is not certain whether there is a specific order in which they must be completed. The trials are:
- The Entrance: Lighting the sconces in the magically darkened tunnels reveals a key at the final sconce
- The Drowning Room: The key is located at the bottom of a pool, however once one individual dives into the pool the room itself become devoid of oxygen
- The Bedroom: The key is visible once everyone lies down on a bed, those lying down must then direct one person to acquire the key
- The Banquet Room: A large and delicious looking banquet is located across a large chasm which is traversed by a bridge. The bridge, however, is an illusion and entrants must use their strength of belief to cross the chasm by simply walking through the air
- The Crushing Room: Intended to test, or perhaps mock, a party's trust in one another, this room features a ceiling which slowly descends on those inside, with only a single hole in the floor to save one of them. It is however a trick, as the ceiling only descends part way and in the end reveals the key
- The Pain Room: This room features three grates and a riddle, "Feed me the Heart. Feed me the Mind. Feed me the pain you wish you left behind. Feed me the greatest meal and the key is yours", this is not literal and entrants must appease an unknown monster which lurks beneath the grates with a tale that reflects one of these things
- The Carpentry Room: The only instruction for this room, which contains a carpenter's bench and tools, is that the entrants must 'make something'
