Chapter I: The Journey Begins
General Summary
After celebrating the entire night away, and the departure of Kassandra, a very hungover Theolin Windsplitter wanders to the taproom of the Unlucky Unicorn to eat...and drink...away his condition. After digging into his morning repast, in wanders three merchants and their caravan and servants. They stopped in Ironwood to gather supplies and rest for the evening. Accompanying them was a Catfolk dressed in mutli-colored robes.
Theolin overheard the merchants discussing their upcoming travel plans to the city of Oathheath, which also happened to be the destination of Theolin's current quest. He introduced himself to the three merchants and after a brief discussion, the three merchants decided to hire Theolin on as an additional caravan guard; the sole one being the aforementioned catfolk whose name was Eisenheim. Theolin waived the salary they offered, just happy that he possibly found an appropriate disguise and transportation into Oathheath.
Leaving the next morning, the caravan traveled west and became wary when warned by a patrol of the Royal Highway Guard, that there were a band of orc raiders attacking travellers and leaving no survivors.
On their third day of travel, the caravan was stopped by a fallen tree that was blocking the road. It was then that Eisenheim's keen catfolk senses that they were not alone...
