Chairman Thaddeus Sinclair (a.k.a. Tad)

Tad Sinclair is the chairman of Daybreak, and retired ceo of Sinclair Shipping. Although he appears to be a aging amiable devoted family man and intellectual, in his youth he was long considered a lifelong bachelor with a different starlet on his arm at every event. He has long since settled down and has several children from two different marriages.

Business causal, often khakis and polos. Will wear a button down and sportscoat to fancy events. Always messing with his tie when forced to dress formal.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

In his youth, Sinclair was actually the top agent of Daybreak's covert operations team. He later graduated to run the organization, but has since retired to be the public face of the Foundation and spend more time with his family. He left day to day operations in the hands of his former protege, Major Jin Haruto.

Mental Trauma

Tad suffered the near loss of his youngest son, Beaument Sinclair, to a long battle with an advanced form of Leukemia. He was able to use the unproven technology of Project Helios to revive him, making him the prototype of the Helios Guard.
This loss made him evaluate his life and step down from Daybreak to spend more quality time with his family. Many have remarked this change to be fairly drastic, his type A personality fading into the background. These days he brings a healthy dose of laid back 'enjoy life' to all events he attends, which has resulted in a marked uptick in his global popularity.

Tad is a lifelong Illuminist. In his later years he has become less adherant, having lost his niavity on how the world works. He still attends services and observes traditions in his household.

Mannerisms

Tad never curses, and chastizes others who do. Other than that, he tends to let things slide and try to be the 'cool dad' around people. he is prone to lots of 'shucks' and 'gal'darnits'. He likes to give hugs, and is generally a very likable person.
He is the kind of guy to snap a bitches neck out of nowhere, and then apologize to everyone in room that they had to see that. He'd then offer to pay for councelling and check in regularly to see how everyone is doing with it.

Loves barbequing and having folks over for beers.

Wealth & Financial state

Tad describes himself as 'comfortable' but has had enough wealth to own a small country. He doesn't believe in opulance, gives most of his wealth away, and tries to live a fairly normal life.
