The Allegro

The Allegro is a Venture-Class starship. It is owned by the famous star-troubadour Jonas Peacock who travels the galaxy performing his widely loved songs. The announcement of his arrival in a star system will cause mass disruptions as people will clamor to gain tickets to his upcoming performance. Tickets are an archaic form of access card that Mr. Peacock reintroduced to build hype for his performances. Fans often keep these "tickets" as souvenirs of the experience. The whole galaxy quivers with anticipation of his next musical masterpiece.   The Allegro is a sleek design. Wings provide for very agile atmospheric flight. Cutting edge propulsion technology allow for Venture class vessels to travel through Fold-space. This is uncommon for vessels as relatively small as The Allegro.   While Mr. Peacock is nominally the captain of The Allegro, it is piloted by Chara Athas. And she maintains the ship and oversees any repairs performed by ground crews while planetside. Chara also operates as Mr. Peacock's bodyguard and is always nearby.   The final member of The Allegro's crew is Megin Katliga, who is Mr. Peacock's Press Agent. She schedules all his engagements, and arranges payment for his appearances. Megin is considered a genius by those in her field. She is the one who thought up the souvenir "ticket" idea.   The Allegro ship layout (front to back) -   Cockpit -

Propulsion

The Allegro is fitted with powerful after-market reactionary drives, allowing for quick and impressive planetary landings and departures. It has a standard, but new, Marigold Device for shifting into Fold-Space. And a slightly overclocked Transition Drive for traversing Fold-space.

Weapons & Armament

While The Allegro is unarmed, some Venture class starships are manufactured with concealed weaponry systems. And after market weapons upgrades are not uncommonly seen.

Armor and defense

Venture class starships have light armoring, which will stop most personal arms. But they are not built to withstand fire from other starships. The Allegro also has some light anti-personnel defense systems installed by Chara Athas, to help clear the ship of overly eager fans.

Communication Tools & Systems

The communications array aboard The Allegro is state of the art. Mr. Peacock is fond of being interviewed while approaching a performance site (read as planet), and can often be persuaded to perform an impromptu encore while The Allegro departs a planet. As such, he has made sure that the absolute best communication technology has been installed upon The Allegro.
