Session 15 - Founding Day
General Summary
Time has advanced to the 13th of Desnus. Council matters are attended to and now you're free to move about the region.
A Goblin by the Name Nok-Nok approached the heroes and wanted to join but saw that wool was being pulled over his eyes over attempts to get him to leave and left dejectedly.
A Dwarf by the name of Ironcask was introduced via letter from Kesten Garess and agreed to join the expedition to help in matters of mining and engineering.
The village of Clemency is founded under the leadership of The Council of Ista. It is everyones first time participating in an undertaking of this calibre so things begin on unsteady feet, with the first misstep of having Jaethal on the council. While the heroes might have known her personally the population did not and knew only an Urgathoan, causing some unrest amongst them. The rest of the council was met warmly. Seeking to reach out, the The Free Republic of Ista sent diplomatic envoys to Varnhold, Rostland, and the Sootscale Kobolds and were met with a warm welcome and even managed to form trade relations with Varnhold. Fish is plentiful within the lake so it only seems fair to share the bounty.
Quelling Unrest, buying lumber, sending envoys, and even a massively overpriced festival were the highlights of the first month, aside from the snafu of attempting to expand into a hex not yet explored.
With new faces coming to settle every turn of the moon, what does the future hold for Ista?
