Hopkins is a small Frogmin spellcaster who calls himself a warlock. Truthfully, though, he uses some Druid magic, some Wizard magic, and a touch of Alchemagic and Shaman magic. He learned the Druid magic and the Shaman magic from members of his tribe. A passing Witch taught him a few Alchemagic recipes and showed him how to use his life energy to power the magic, but she was unfortunately slain by a Crimson Lich in the Ghost Mall. Hopkins sometimes visits the mall to shop at the magic shop, and it was there that he purchased an instruction manual for novice Wizards and a partial book of Wizard spells, and, with a little instruction from the shop keeper, he learned to reliably cast several spells.

Hopkins is healthy, but not especially strong. He has never done any permanent damage to himself with Alchemagic.

Hopkins has larger eyes than most, which are made to look even bigger because of his smaller than average frame.

Given the option, Hopkins would rather walk on a wall or the ceiling to the floor.
